Regional Government allocates 7.2 million euros to fire brigades
The Regional Government Council has approved the allocation of permanent financial contributions to various humanitarian fire associations in the Autonomous Region of Madeira for the 2026 fiscal year. This support aims to ensure the operationality of the Integrated System for Protection and Relief Operations (SIOPS-RAM).

- Porto Santo Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Association: €1,122,872.00 (Resolution no. 122/2026)
- Camara de Lobos Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Association: €1,088,919.00 (Resolution no. 119/2026)
- Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Firefighters Humanitarian Association: €993,867.00 (Resolution no. 118/2026)
- Sao Vicente and Porto Moniz Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Association: €960,427.00 (Resolution no. 121/2026)
- Calheta Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Association: €948,981.00 (Resolution no. 117/2026)
- Santana Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Association: €834,374.00 (Resolution no. 124/2026)
These contracts, signed through the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM, ensure the provision of emergency relief throughout the regional territory.
